Another great idea. There is a tutorial that goes with these little stars:
knitted star tutorial (from dutch blue):

Okay, this is cool. Photographer's note:
"Emily asked everyone to knit a ring for her Christmas Garland out of her leftover sock yarn. "
What a great way to use up odd bits of yarn, and make something delightfully colorful!
Okay, this is way too cute. The photographer has this to say:
"Molly up to her usual mischief : )"
Very sweet for a special little someone.
MiriamKKnits says this is a "Smocked Knitted Red Dress"
Here's the close-up. The lighting really shows the mennorah pattern nicely.
These are very sweet~ The photographer says:
"Pattern in the Christmas issue of 'Simply knitting', an English magazine. (Mind you, this is the scanned picture of the magazine. I did not knit these funny figures (yet))"
These remind me very much of my childhood, the Austrian and Scandinavian ornaments we had. I really loved them, and these guys bring back memories...
All wrapped up,

I came across these today, and in my state of hunger I couldn't resist! Now to mention I have a sore wrist, so no knitting for me!
Here are the photographer's notes:

Knitting by kj baez Friday, March 12, 2004 My favourite 'knitting' line is a John Lennon put-down in the film A Hard Day's Night when the fusspot studio floor assistant comes on in a big outsize woolly sweater. George says his mother knitted it, and sardonic John says, She knitted him! Then straight into, 'If I trust in you, oh please.... The fabulous knitting brothers from Liverpool! Yeah yeah yeah! | |

From the article in the Daily Mail:
The single storey house is knitted from top to bottom -- apart from the wooden door and windows -- and is made from 10 inch squares of wool sewn together in a complex jigsaw. The bed, dresser, chairs, pictures, table and even the stove are also hand knitted, as well as household goodies like sweets, cakes and biscuits. The house will even be surrounded by a knitted garden, with knitted flowers and knitted 12 foot high trees.
