Bella, you can keep Edward, just hand over the scarf & no one gets hurt.

Just had to add this~
This photographer/knitter says:
"So it's no secret that I'm no big fan of Twilight ( I still think The Host should have been a series & surely a bigger hit, but that's another post for another day), but when I saw this scarf, I had to have it.
Apparently my fangirl is all about the Twilight gear. :D So I bought the Bella Baseball scarf but I had it done in custom colors that feel more like me, hence the black, white, grey & charcoal. I can't wait to wear it when it gets cold out. I still won't see the film but I am looking forward to whatever warm cuddly knit & crochet wear may come from the next film.
My shot of it came out pretty decently, I think."

Knitted Witch Tea Cosy
Witch Tea Cozy and Door Decoration was designed and knitted by www.knitvana.com
knitted witch in New York
Fun!
Photo note:
"The idea of this witch was triggered by Bernat black and orange Fancy Fur yarn. It looked so “Halloweenish”, that we decided to buy a few skeins and knit something for Halloween. This is how the Witch was born. Every October she spends most of her time as a door decoration. For Halloween party we use her as a tea cozy. But sometimes when nobody can see, she escapes home and flies over New York city."

Ooh - this scarf is nice and lacy.
Photo note:
"I bought a book on how to knit without needles. You use your fingers instead, kind of like a loom."

The Poetry Society has come up with a crafty way to mark their centenary – a giant knitted poem!
Knitters all over the world were asked to knit a letter on a blanket square and send it in. The poem chosen for the project has been a closely guarded secret. As each knitter was only working on a letter, they didn’t know what the poem would be! This morning it was revealed that the letters have been sewn together to spell out In My Craft or Sullen Art by Dylan Thomas.
If you want to appreciate the full beauty of this poem (and the knitting!) head down to the Royal Festival Hall tomorrow for National Poetry Day Live!
You can join in the free events all afternoon in the Clore Ballroom, featuring live poetry readings from John Hegley, Roger McGough, Lemn Sissay and Selima Hill. Don’t miss the chance to see Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy reading her first National Poetry Day poem.
The afternoon also includes the prizegiving ceremony for the Foyle Young Poets and exclusive BBC archive footage of famous poets from the past reading their work.
National Poetry Day Live! – 8 October, Clore Ballroom, Royal Festival Hall, 2–5pm
In My Craft or Sullen Art
In my craft or sullen art
Exercised in the still night
When only the moon rages
And the lovers lie abed
With all their griefs in their arms,
I labor by singing light
Not for ambition or bread
Or the strut and trade of charms
On the ivory stages
But for the common wages
Of their most secret heart.
Not for the proud man apart
From the raging moon I write
On these spindrift pages
Nor for the towering dead
With their nightingales and psalms
But for the lovers, their arms
Round the griefs of the ages,
Who pay no praise or wages
Nor heed my craft or art.

Pixie's Garden Vest
This vest (back side shown) is very delicate, and pretty.
Photo note:
"Nuno felted vest on cotton gauze. Fibres used were hand dyed merino, silk and mohair. My husband dyed the fabric and fibre with natural dyes."
Nuno Felted Batik-like Vest - Sea Side
Gorgeous blues -
Photo note:
"THis vest is handmade by nuno felting technique, out of 100% merino wool, felted into cotton scrim. IT is very light to wear, therefore comfortable with a T-shirt in the a cool summer day or with a jumper in the winter. There are waist line seams in the front and the back to make you more thin!
I think it is pretty to wear it open, but I made a simple belt for you if you feel more comfortable with it.
Length: 25 inches (64cms)
Waist: not more then 38 inches (96 cms)
Hip: not more then 44 inches (112 cms)
You can easily hand wash it any time, but pls. do not leave it in the water for long."
Felted Vest English Country Style - Rose
Very pretty!
Photo note:
"This is one of my favourite master piece:)
THe vest is made of 100% merino wool by the techniques of wet felt making and needle felting. Most of the pastel colours were hand dyed by myself as well.
It is a very nice wear in cold or cool days.
THe size is about M, 12-14 UK size, 12-14 USA size, 40-42 EU size. I am able to do some size adjustments and widen it with 1-2 inches.
I put 3 pairs of hooks and eyes if you wish to close it."
Felted vest
A piece of art to be worn.
Photo note:
"It is a bolero kind of upper par(t) and then a very thin scarf has been sewn to the bottom of it to create a vest. All over it is silk."
