Pretty yarn! Love the variegated gold, and the textured openwork detail up the sides of the socks.

Hand knit lace wall hanging
Note:
"How cute it this? :P I actually designed and knit these last Winter/early Spring (more colors are on the way). I love the colors for Autumn!
Gorgeous colorway from Lisa/Wabi Sabi Yarns (goooorgeous). :)
I cut a little dowel from balsam wood, and hand tied a super skinny organic cotton ribbon to use as the hanger. I love how these turned out."
Pretty!

knitting and felting a bowl for thanksgiving
I love knitted bowls, and did several myself. I use mine for keeping sew-up needles in, and other necessary items.

Halloween Special - Little People - Girl
Photo note from Hassenpfeffer:
"Halloween Special - Little People - Girl
Hasenpfeffer grew by another generation. Ursula Huber, Daniela’s mum, is in on the act. And for the record, she’s showing us how it’s done. She knits these insanely intricate coats, skirts, and dresses. Simply for the fact that she knits them, they’re bespoke; however, these outfits are beyond just custom.
It’s because she works entirely free-form. That’s right; she works by feel and not by pattern. Judgment, not a predetermined shape, guides her needles. We always prided ourselves that each one of our little people acquired of a personality of its own, but we now stand in awe; the pieces she creates transform these personalities into real characters. We admit; we’ve been schooled.
In light of the incredible amount of time, effort, and creativity that goes into her knit outfits, only a select few Little People will wear them. And even though they command a premium, we’re still not charging as much as they cost. In other words, she’s doing it for the love.
Sure, they cost a bit more; however, remember this: You get what you pay for. And in this case you get a lot.
